Oscar's 2017 Favorite Dresses

The 89th Annual Oscars has arrived and the celebrities came to suit up, split down, and sparkle. The red carpet was very exciting to watch and to see some really beautiful, feminine, elegant gowns. Just like the Grammys. My favorite gowns worn by incredibly talented actors and models. For the Oscars, I've seen a lot of gold, a lot of sheer, more split leg dresses, long train dresses, and the long draped cape dresses that were absolutely gorgeous. Let's take a look!!!
Janelle Monae looks absolutely stunting in this beautifully constructed Elie Stabb gown. I love the color choice of black and gold because it really makes her skin tone pop. I've always been a fan of big puffy princess dresses but the fact that its sheer at the top and slick in the middle is beautiful.
Miss Universe Olivia Culpo is not only sparkling in this Marchesa gown designed by Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig. Not only is the gown elegant with the fringe silver beads, but it is also for a good cause for the Stella Artois campaign called "Buy a lady a drink Campaign". The campaign collaborates with water.org, which helps provides five years of clean water for one person in the developing world if you purchase a chalice. The crystals on the dress represents water and the beads reflects lights in water.
Incredible actress and now Oscar Academy Award winner Viola Davis is rocking Armani and the red color is a powerful beautiful color on her. Three words: Black Girl Magic. Everything about this dress screams elegant from the fit of the dress, the shoulder cut out part, and the short flow at the end of the dress.
I'm always excited to see what Chrissy Teigen is slaying in because she loves showing off her long gorgeous legs like me. Also she is just not afraid of wearing long train sheer dresses. She is giving me goddess wearing white and gold in this Zuhair Murad gown and a hint of sexy with the split leg and sheer chest with gold beads at the top In the back she also has a long cape draping down the dress with the back cut out.
Taraji P. Henson is one of my favorite actress, she is also giving a new definition of sexy in her 40's and I love it. She still has a good curvy body and great legs to show off this slick slit leg dress designed by Alberta Ferretti. The details of the dress is really beautiful from the neckline and the navy blue color.
Last but not least Giuliana Rancic slaying in this beautiful sexy Georges Chakara gown from the Spring 2017 Couture Collection straight off the runaway from Fashion week. When I first saw this dress my first reaction was WOW!!!! because I love the soft light blue color, the one shoulder neckline, the slit leg, and the long arm cut out part. The whole dress itself just gives off spring.
